Blue Alien Betta is a stunning male alien betta, a hybrid bred from wild betta species and known for its vibrant blue colouration with a metallic shimmer. Location

The Alien Betta is a captive bred hybrid. Its wild parent species come from Southeast Asia, where they live in the slow flowing waters of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. These warm, tropical conditions help highlight the betta’s beautiful colours.

Diet

As a carnivore, this alien betta thrives on a diet rich in protein, such as high quality betta pellets, along with occasional live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms.

Care

This alien betta requires water temperatures between 24 and 30°C and enjoys slightly acidic to neutral pH levels. While peaceful, males can be territorial, so it’s best to keep them in a separate tank or with peaceful fish. Never keep two males together.

Habitat

In their natural habitat, these Bettas are found in shallow waters with dense plant life. Mimic this environment in your aquarium with plants, low water flow, and gentle filtration to ensure they thrive.

Breeding

Breeding alien bettas is similar to breeding other Betta varieties. The male will build a bubble nest, and after fertilisation, the male guards the eggs until they hatch, with the fry needing a separate tank for growth.

We take care to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition and ready to settle into your aquarium. All orders are shipped with tracking, and the cut-off time for same-day dispatch is 4 pm.

Orders containing dry goods, shrimp, snails or plants are dispatched Monday to Friday via Royal Mail for fast, reliable delivery. Livestock, in particular live fish and invertebrates, are dispatched Monday to Wednesday only, using an approved overnight courier, to avoid weekend delays and ensure safe and timely delivery.

Track Your Order

You will receive a tracking number by email when we begin processing your order for shipping. The selected courier will provide updates on delivery only through their tracking page.

During colder weather, heat packs are added when needed. Livestock orders are carefully packed in insulated boxes to help maintain a stable temperature throughout transit.
